Meet the AFDR Board of Directors

Over the past couple months, AFDR has ben recruiting the leadership to help direct the association. The board of directors have been picked because of their dedication to the industry, the number of years as DSRs, and their influence within their companies. In the future the membership will be able to nominate and vote upon the leadership. Here is a list of the board of directors, contact anyone of them to discuss your ideas for AFDR.

Consult the Expert: AFDR Announces New Member Benefit.

As a member you are welcome to consult with our resident expert on the day to day problems that may exist for the DSR, Dave Miesse. You may know him from DSR Radio; Dave was the ID Magazine DSR of the Year Award Winner in 1985. He has 26 years experience in all facets of foodservice sales and branding issues. Dave has worked as a sales training consultant for Sysco, U.S. Foodservice and dozens of independent distributors, as well as worked closely with even more food brands helping their sales network work more effectively with DSRs and operators. So if you have a question, contact Dave and he will assist you in finding a possible solutions that you may not have even considered.

AFDR Announces Working Committees
 

Become involved with AFDR! AFDR now has a formal committee structure, this will allow AFDR members to become involved in the direction of the association. Click here to download and sign up for the committees that you are interested in serving on. The amount of time and effort required will depend on the committee and your dedication to its mission. Each committee has a representative from the board of directors and this person will act as Chair.

National Restaurant Show

Are you attending the National Restaurant Association show? The show dates are May 19-22 in Chicago, IL. If so, stop by the Nation's Restaurant News booth and ask about the special AFDR member rates.
