"The program has made a believer out of me"

As a cafeteria manager, I am always looking for ways to both stretch my dollars and attract students to the cafeteria, using the Foodservice Rewards program has enabled me to achieve both of my goals painlessly. Because I can use high quality items and get free merchandise to use in the cafeteria (so far I’ve received volleyballs, soccer balls and Etch-a-Sketch items to use as giveaways and it was all FREE!!)

I cannot say enough good things about this program. The first time I heard about it I was a little leery because it sounded too good to be true, but everything they said it would do, it does! Easily, painlessly and with very little effort on my part. The Web site takes you through everything you want to do step by step and you won’t get lost!

The Foodservice Rewards program has made a real believer out of me and the kids in our district are really glad that I participate in it. They can’t wait to see what the next prizes will be!

Website Makeover

Meet Deb Klingberg, one of the many members of the Quality Assurance team who helped prepare the new Foodservice Rewards website for launch.

Dozens of user interviews, hundreds of hours of QA, thousands of hours of development, and hundreds of thousands of dollars were invested in this makeover. Improvements as a result of operator/user interviews and feedback include:

A dynamic "My Promotions" page showing each member promotions for which they are eligible. (My Promotions change on an operator-by-operator basis depending on date, segment, ownership type, and buyer/non-buyer criteria - see: Country Selection > My Promotions). Improved navigation, enhanced code scanning, mail-in options, and more chronicled in this "before & after" are part of the industrious enhancement effort.

Free scanners at 1,000th code?

"You don’t track invoices with Foodservice Rewards®," says Chef Michial Neal of Lynchburg College, "so it’s easier to earn rewards than with other redemption offers."

Operators enter Reward Codes individually or in groups of ten. They also mail them in - we've made it easy, allowing members to print a personalized mailing label with one click. Bar code scanners are also becoming an increasingly popular method of code entry.

We're considering providing scanners automatically to operators who've entered their thousandth code. Comments?
